Non-Medical ADHD Assessment

Many adults reach a point where they begin to wonder whether ADHD may explain lifelong patterns of emotional overwhelm, difficulty regulating attention, emotional intensity, procrastination, burnout, masking, or feeling constantly "out of step" with the demands of everyday life. An ADHD assessment that is non-medical offers a supportive, in-depth exploration of these experiences in a neurodivergence-affirming therapy context. Together, we examine current difficulties, developmental history, coping strategies, sensory and emotional experiences, relationships, work patterns, and how ADHD traits may have manifested throughout your life.

I have completed specialist ADHD assessment training through the UK Adult ADHD Network (UKAAN), utilizing the same assessment framework training undertaken by many psychologists, psychiatrists, and other clinicians working in ADHD services across the UK. While this is not a formal medical diagnosis and does not provide access to medication, it can offer clarity, validation, and a detailed understanding of your experiences, along with practical recommendations to help you move forward with greater self-awareness and support.

My non-medical ADHD assessment package costs £350 and includes a comprehensive two-hour assessment appointment alongside a detailed written report. For many people, this provides a cost-effective and accessible way to explore whether ADHD may help explain lifelong patterns and difficulties before deciding whether to pursue a formal medical diagnosis privately or through the NHS. The process is designed to provide clarity, validation, and a deeper understanding of your individual profile, with practical recommendations and reflections tailored to your experiences. Many clients find that even without pursuing a medical diagnosis, the assessment helps them make sense of years of feeling overwhelmed, misunderstood, or as though they have had to work much harder than others simply to cope with everyday life.
